Pictures Will Be Taken

They park off the blacktop in the cold early dawn and walk through deep woods to the clearing. The man scatters corn across the frosted ground. Inside the blind, he hands the boy a scoped rifle and winks. It is solemn fun, waiting for manhood to arrive.
