moon’s metallic colorstorm
on crests of midnight’s tide
light and sea to each the other
gives breath and fire and life
on crests of midnight’s tide
caroms Thetis’ swiftest mount
breath and fire and life she gives
to one from Olympus cast out
caroms Thetis’ swiftest mount
on a reckless rescue venture
the child from Olympus cast out
a home in the depths now makes
a reckless rescue venture
brings new beginnings to bear
his home in the depths now made
where fiery gifts in clamshells smolder
bringing new beginnings to bear
light and sea each in the other
where fiery gifts in clamshells smolder
beneath moon’s metallic colorstorm
