A Tube Carriage Named…

A woman is pushed
against a transparent screen
in a tube carriage.
A man slides his hands
over her
midriff. She claws the skin
on his neck
with violet nails.
Their lips twist
into new positions.

On the other side
of the screen, a woman sits,
looking away,
focused
on the grimy pane
of a small window.
She pinches a black
eyeliner pencil,
the sharp tip
poised
over her skin.
