A site inspection of
varicose veins on
my radius of flesh
sometimes helps me to
appreciate the miles
traveled by these limbs
long after years when
I ate bags of pizza rolls
this parade of joints
persists at moving
against the carnage
of tick-tock scratching
hatch marks not far
behind my foot tracks
that continue to outpace
your condolences.
