Alien Aches of an Evening Sky

Sky is nothing but a space of
alien aches
when I am there below those badly burnt
evenings of yellow despair.

A crow silently hovers over a
mandala of anxieties. And I stack different
sizes of nothing to make
a safe house for my glassy dreams.

Dear Leonard, it’s not true that
“There is a crack in everything. That’s
how the light gets in.”

But, everything is just one big beautiful
crack. And there is nothing to fear the darkness within.
