Nightscape with Attention to Blueshift

It was a time for bold decisions
so I trailed from one full house

to the next, following girls
I never allowed myself to love
and cups blown around

like tumbleweeds. Landscape, astonish me;
body, split open to leave a lifetime
on my tongue, ripe as fruit

swelled and blood-ready
for picking.
