A Gift

Dinner for one.
A glass of Shloer.
Alone with Peter Dale’s
‘Under the Breath’, a gift,
from a mutual friend.
Then, should we never meet,
this has been given,
and gratefully received.
Maybe now, I too can breathe
on my own.
