omens answer

raven oceans
            wave over wave
            caress anemones

men cease ascension across eons
            venus erases moons
            sun-wars raze macrocosms

were we weavers or carvers   once
            cure-summoners
            or coarse sons

now   raven oceans
            cover our sermons
            our vacuous crowns
